Blog is short for weblog (web log). It is a ‘log’ of someone’s thoughts and opinions.

A blog is an easy way to share news or interesting topics with other people.

The format allows people to post comments in response to the blogger’s original posts.

How do I post comments?

Just click on the “Comments” link at the bottom of the post, and fill in the “Post a comment” form.

What should I put in my comments?

Please try to keep your comments short and relevant to the post in question. This is because long discussions may put off fellow users and make the page very long.

What is permalink?

Permalink is short for “permanent link”. It’s a type of URL designed to refer to a specific weblog post. Usually permalinks include the date and the title of the posting.

What is a feed reader?

Also known as a news aggregator, a feed reader allows blog content that is generated or provided from another source to be brought together and displayed. Feed readers can be built into web browsers, email software or as stand-alone applications.
