Manos Schizas
Senior Policy Adviser
Manos is a senior policy adviser with ACCA’s Small Business Unit in London.
He studied Economics and then Human Resource Management in Athens, Greece before moving to London to study Accounting and Finance at LSE. After graduating, he worked as a labour market researcher for the UK’s Financial Services Skills Council (now the Financial Skills Partnership) before joining ACCA in 2008.
Manos leads ACCA’s Research and Insights programme on Access to Finance. He is the editor of ACCA’s Global Economic Conditions Survey, the largest regular survey of accountants in the world. His policy and research interests also include regulatory reform, small business economics and statistics, access to markets and public procurement, as well as e-invoicing.
